To ensure the effective implantation of the 2022 - 2026 Strategic Plan it is imperative that Clay County CERT lay out the landscape and environment it is currently working in. With the recent uptick in the occurrence of disaster we must work vigilantly to understand and effectively deploy resources to prepare our partners, protect our citizens, and mitigate disasters.

With the recent uptick in the occurrence of disaster we must work vigilantly to understand and effectively deploy resources to prepare our partners, protect our citizens, and mitigate disasters.
Clay County CERT is thriving and so are disasters, recently the COVID-19 pandemic has disrupted supply chains, caused a massive number of deaths, and changed the future of disaster planning and response. As the decade anniversary of the 2016 flood approaches we must begin to prepare and reshape our response plans to efficiently and effectively provide services to future generations in time of need.
